The California History-Social Science Project website includes a civic education resources page: http://chssp.ucdavis.edu/civic-education 

There you will find the recent Current Context entitled "Youth in Action," which includes primary sources for classroom investigation, a timeline activity, links to an environmental health mapping tool hosted by the CalEPA, and links to Education and the Environment Initiative curriculum units that support learning on the topic of civic engagement related to the environment.

This Civic Education page also includes links to videos recorded at the CSMP Lead Learn conference, where education leaders convened to discuss civic education; lessons plans on civic topics; The Source: Civic Engagement; and information about professional learning opportunities related to civic education at History Project regional sites this summer.
