Teaching the HSS Framework

Instructional resources and programs for educators to support implementation of California's new HSS Framework

As the Primary Writers for California's new History-Social Science Framework, the CHSSP is uniquely positioned to support implementation of the new guidelines for instruction.  

History-Social Science Framework Launch Conferences, hosted by the CHSSP: 

Conference Partners:  California Department of Education and the California County Superintendents Educational Services Association (CCSESA).  Click here for additional conference dates, hosted by CCSESA.

Each conference will begin at 8:30 am and conclude by 3:30 pm; registration fee:  $225. Click here for a list of session descriptions.

Participants at each of the CHSSP-hosted events will receive free parking, continental breakfast, box lunch, instructional materials, a special primary source collection aligned to the new Framework, and a hard copy of the 2017 Framework edition of The Source.
